Getting to Vilnius by car
You can reach Lithuania from Poland or Latvia by road network. The speed limits, that are 50 km / h in urban areas, 90 km / h on dual carriageways and 130 km / h on motorways (110 km / h during the winter months).

Getting to Vilnius by bus

Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn are connected by a good bus service, and you can move from city to city on a budget and in a short time (3-4 hours to get to Vilnius from Riga).

Getting to Vilnius by train

By Autobus
The bus is definitely the cheapest way to get into town. To move from’ airport to the city center, Take the bus or No. 1 or the No. 2 on the left side: both arrive at the central train station and bus station in Vilnius. The bus stop is left out of the airport and the ticket gets on board ( 3,50 Litas). If you buy the ticket at the entrance of the airport newsstand (near the information center) you will save 0,50 Litas.
The line No. 1 provides a direct link between the airport and the bus station without intermediate stops.

By Shuttle
The shuttle service between the airport and the train station is in service between 6.30 and 19.30, runs every 30 minutes. The cost of the ticket is 2 Litas, and can be purchased on board.
By Taxi
At the Terminal Airport Arrivals in Vilnius there are taxis to reach the center of the city and the surrounding. it's’ s possible to book a taxi at the information desk at the arrivals terminal of Vilnius: so you will enjoy discounted rates. Taxis are definitely the most convenient and fastest way to get to the city center.
