Although Bucharest aspires to be a trendy and lively city, it offers entertainment for all tastes but above all for all budgets: the entrances to the bars and clubs of the city are quite cheap even if the more touristy places have slightly higher prices. You will be fascinated by the feeling of fun that reigns in the alleys of the center and by the festive and joyful spirit of its inhabitants.

Even if the historic center of Bucharest is full of bars and clubs and you can always find some party, the nightlife is concentrated during the weekend, when you will be spoiled for choice. The most popular clubs are located in the city center, between Piazza Unirii and the Lipsani , Selari and Gabroveni streets , and they are all within easy reach of each other and many of them are open day and night.

Some clubs and pubs charge a small fee on entry, others don't. In some of them, only girls can pass for free. However, the prices are not high: in the historic center of the city, the entrance fee is less than 5 euros. However, don't forget to exchange euros in Romanian currency as clubs do not accept a currency other than the national one. There are also no queues as there is no invitation system, so if you want to enter there is almost never a problem.

The drinks are also quite cheap. A beer can cost between 2 and 4 euros and a cocktail around 4 or 5 euros. An important recommendation: If you are in Bucharest and you don't have Romanian friends to take you to the disco, we strongly recommend that you stay in the historic center, as it is the safest area. Do not venture into distant or less touristy areas.

Bucharest's nightlife is complemented by a good choice of restaurants where you can taste the specialties of Romanian cuisine, as well as theaters and concert halls, all at fairly cheap prices. Finally, you cannot miss a visit to the famous massage centers , where you can relax in whirlpools, saunas and massages of all kinds.

Among the numerous music festivals held in the Romanian capital we remember the BestFest , a very popular music festival, capable of attracting up to 50,000 people, and the George Enescu International Festival and Competition , during which concerts, operas and ballets are held, including classical and jazz music.
