Be prepared to wait, though: the service is friendly but can be very slow. Traditional folk dancing and bands make this place very popular with locals, and it's usually packed most nights of the week.

Moloney's Irish Pub

A great pub for watching your favorite sports live. Shot Cafe

This underground cellar may be small, but it has a huge menu with 113 shots! Every night, there's a 2-for-1 deal on cocktails from 1:00 to 2:00. It's a packed bar with music for dancing all night. During the summer months, people flock to the terrace for drinks.

The latter of the two bars is larger and seems to have gained more popularity: it's located across the street, making it easy to party between the two bars, which are among the hottest hangouts for Riga's young people.

Omas Briljants

The Skyline , located on the 26th floor of the Reval Hotel Latvia , in the heart of Riga, is an elegant cocktail bar with a refined and chic atmosphere and breathtaking views of the entire city. The bar is reached by a glass elevator and is popular with visitors and locals, especially many Russians: it's a great place to sip good drinks on a quiet evening or perhaps for a romantic date. Cita Puse (November 11, Krastmala 35, Riga) , a two-story bar where you can meet and chat with some beautiful girls. The bar serves excellent espressos during the day, while at night it transforms into a venue with live entertainment.

PinUp (Pils iela 7, Riga) : A bar located in Riga's Castle District, overlooking the banks of the Daugava River. The bar is run by girls dressed as pin-ups and offers specialty cocktails with unusual flavors, such as the "Nutty Monk" and the "Mandarin Revolution .

Naba Klub

Naba Klub is one of Riga's alternative music venues. Here you can listen to live bands, as well as DJ nights. The atmosphere is Soviet-style retro. The place also has a large garden with picnic tables where you can smoke and drink in company.

Cetri Balti Krekli

Literally "four white shirts," Cetri Balti Krekli is a club featuring only Latvian music. Admission varies from 2 to 7 lats depending on the event. Although the average age is not particularly young, the club is always well attended.

Mad House

Mad House is a disco pub with tables and a small dance floor in the center, playing commercial music. Free admission and cheap drinks.

Minx Bar

Minx Bar is what used to be called Nautilus . Located in Riga's Old Town, it's a large, modern club with house and techno music. It's frequented by beautiful Latvian girls.

Space Dog

A cute, alternative club with live music and local beer. Inside, there's a foosball table and a machine that dispenses Jägermeister shots! During the day, you can also order soups, salads, and sandwiches. Admission: free.

Sapņi un kokteiļi

. This club also serves as a hookah and cigar bar. The drinks aren't exactly cheap, but especially the strict face check at the entrance: those who don't speak Latvian are unlikely to get in.

Pulkvedim Neviens Neraksta – Nobody Writes to the Colonel

Pulkvedim Neviens Neraksta , literally "Nobody Writes to the Colonel," is a very rustic disco-pub with a main room and a smaller room downstairs playing a variety of music, including electronic and commercial. Always busy on weekends, it's the perfect place to spend the late hours of the night after exploring Riga's bars.

Piens Club

Piens Club is located in an old 19th-century brewery about a 10-minute taxi ride from the Old Town, in a somewhat difficult-to-find location. This is one of Riga's most beloved cocktail bars, with long lines on weekends to get into the bar and sit on one of the many sofas of all shapes and sizes. The atmosphere is eclectic and relaxed. On weekends, only Latvians are allowed in, while tourists are not allowed in: you'll have to hope to get past the bouncers.

Nabaklab

This basement club offers alternative music. It consists of two modest rooms, one with live bands and the other where you can dance to the sounds of DJs. The music ranges from punk, local rock, ska, and electronic music. The club offers its own Nabaklab beer, which costs less than 2 euros!

Mai Tai

A very popular club and cocktail bar with strict door restrictions: dress well. Don't miss the busty bartenders serving drinks! The only downside is the expensive drinks (€8).

Klub Depo

For underground music lovers and hip young alternatives, this is the place for you. Indie bands and DJs from abroad, garage bands, and an alternative crowd happily coexist at this club, one of the few to promote rock, hardcore, metal, punk, reggae, and experimental music genres. It's the perfect place to hear local bands play or simply grab a beer on the ground floor. Concert admission is €5-7.

Club Studio 69
(Tērbatas iela 73, Riga) Open Friday and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
With an elegant and charming atmosphere, Studio 69 is one of Riga's trendiest clubs. It's perhaps the most beautiful nightclub in Riga: the club, frequented primarily by Latvian nouveau riche and Russians, is part of the RoyalCasinoHotel , a complex that includes a 5-star hotel, a casino, spa, restaurants, bars, and even the La Rocca (a large window offers a view of the other club's dance floor).
Entrance is quite expensive: 14 euros. The club is definitely more expensive than La Rocca, but the average age is higher and wealthier. Definitely not to be missed! Ultimately, Studio 69 is the hottest club in Riga: good music, beautiful girls, excellent drinks, and gorgeous dancers who never cease to liven up the night. Go there.

First Dacha
(Andrejostas iela 4, Riga) One of Riga's most glamorous nightclubs, open only on weekends and located near the port. Here too, they're very selective at the entrance. Despite the difficulty of getting in, once inside, your effort will be rewarded: First Dacha is always packed with beautiful girls and good music, guaranteeing an unforgettable evening.

Coyote Fly
(Tērbatas 2, Riga) Open Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Another very popular and trendy club in Riga is undoubtedly the beautiful Coyote Fly , just a few steps from the city center, located in the Vernisāža , inside Vermanes Park.
There's a strict face check on Fridays and Saturdays: come dressed elegantly and not as a tourist. The club is trendy and a meeting place for Riga's elite and current celebrities. It plays mainstream music with international DJs from all over Europe, local musicians, rappers, and other artists. Admission is easier on Thursdays, when there's less screening at the door.

La Rocca
(Brīvības 96, Riga) Open Friday and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
This large nightclub is mostly frequented by Russians, although it is one of the most famous clubs in Riga. It is located slightly outside the old town, from which it can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, following Brivibas . Open on Fridays and Saturdays, the club offers techno music and entertainment with very pretty dancers. The club's special feature is the "Red Square" , where you can dance to Russian music immersed in a Soviet propaganda-style atmosphere, with Cyrillic writing and images of Lenin and Ivan Drago . Great evenings: not to be missed. Entrance fee around €7-10.
