Stunning. The Bunkier Klubogaleria is located on Olejarna Street, in a six-story cubic building, reinforced with concrete and built as an air raid shelter, bunker and anti-aircraft battery by the Germans during World War II. This is the only building in the area to have survived the war: for many years it sat empty, except for use as a climbing wall, until someone with a magnificent imagination and access to a colossal amount of money decided to turn it into a club. The results are breathtaking. Step through the door and you'll be greeted by original corridors, lined with 1.2 meter thick walls that lead into a maze of bars, dancefloors, a lounge area and some of the coolest toilets we've ever seen. Each level is different and very unique: there is also cage seating with military bunks and an electric chair on level 3. The bars have surprisingly low prices, and the music on offer is of mixed genres. The Bunkier club is so big that, even though it is crowded with hundreds of people, it seems almost empty: it is worth a visit!

An institution when it comes to Gdansk nightlife .
