Paris has three airports: The main airports are Paris-Charles de Gaulle And >Paris-Orly, where intercontinental flights and major airlines land; while low-cost flights land at Paris-Beauvais-Tillé .
Paris Beauvais Airport and connections to Paris
As we mentioned, Beauvais is a small airport dedicated to low-cost flights from Ryanair and similar airlines. It is located 90 km northwest of Paris, about an hour's drive from the city center (A16 motorway).
Connections between Paris Beauvais and the City Centre: Shuttle Bus Transfer
The most convenient way to get to Paris from Beauvais Airport is undoubtedly the official Beauvais Airport shuttle service. The bus leaves from the airport parking lot approximately 15-30 minutes after the arrival of each flight and stops at Paris-Porte Maillot near the Porte Maillot RER station and metro line 1. From there, you can take the Paris Metro to your hotel.
The ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and tickets cost €15 each way. You'll also find the bus at Porte Maillot for the return journey; to be safe, try to be at Porte Maillot at least three and a quarter hours before your flight, otherwise you risk missing your connection or arriving at the airport too late. HOW TO GET TO PARIS: Paris-Beauvais Connections – Train Transfer
An alternative to the shuttle is to take an RER train directly from Beauvais station, which goes to Gare du Nord. Trains run every hour, starting at 6:30 AM and lasting until 8:00 PM, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. A ticket costs around 10 euros.
Beauvais train station can be reached by airport shuttles or bus line 12, which, however, does not run on Sundays and holidays. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, which takes 15 minutes from the airport and costs €13.

A taxi is definitely the least recommended option for reaching the city, as a single ride can cost up to 150 euros.
Paris Orly Airport and connections to Paris

Orly Airport is located about 15 km from central Paris and is accessible via the A6 motorway. Taxis take 20 to 45 minutes to reach the city center. Prices range from €40 to €50.
HOW TO GET TO PARIS: Paris-Orly Airport Connections – Bus Transfer
Buses to central Paris depart daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. from the South and West terminals. Air France and Orlybus run to Gare Montparnasse and Invalides (metro/RER Invalides) and Place Denfert-Rochereau (metro/RER Denfert-Rochereau). Tickets start at €7.70.

From Orly, you can reach the nearby Antony Orlyval fast shuttle , which departs every 5 minutes from the airport. Trains depart from Antony station daily from 5:08 AM to 12:12 AM for Paris. The journey from the airport to Châtelet takes about 35 minutes, and a shuttle and train ticket costs €9. Alternatively, you can reach Pont de Rungis-Aéroport d'Orly station via the ADP shuttle, which departs every 15-30 minutes. From Pont de Rungis, take the RER line C, which runs daily from 5:45 AM to 11:15 PM for Paris. The ticket costs €5.
Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport and connections to Paris

De Gaulle Airport is located 23 km from Paris and is connected to the city center by the A1 motorway. A taxi ride to central Paris costs around €40-45.

To reach the city center, you can take the Roissybus : it runs daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with departures every 15-20 minutes. They depart from Terminal 1, exit 30, Terminals 2A and 2C, exit 9, Terminals 2B and 2D, exit 1, Terminals 2E and 2F, exits 3 and 5, and head towards Opera (Rue Scribe, Opéra metro station, RER Auber). You can also reach central Paris from Charles de Gaulle Airport by bus. Tickets cost €12.
Line 2 runs daily from 5:45 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with buses every 15 minutes. Buses depart from Terminals 1, 2A, 2C, 2B, 2D, 2E, and 2F and go to Porte Maillot and Place Charles de Gaulle-Etoile.
Line 4 runs daily from 7:00 a.m., with buses every 30 minutes. Buses depart from Terminals 1, 2A, 2C, 2B, 2D, 2E, and 2F and go to Gare Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon.
HOW TO GET TO PARIS: Connections to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport – Train Transfer
Aéroports de Paris shuttle or follow the signs for "Paris par Train." This will take you to the RER B line, which leads to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles, Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, Luxembourg, Port Royal, Denfert-Rochereau, and Cité Universitaire. Tickets cost €8.
